What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the lightweight, compact design that delivers impressive power without sacrificing performance. Many highlight faster drilling speeds, increased torque, and the ability to complete demanding tasks like drilling multiple holes or driving screws into hardwood without noticeable power loss. Reviewers note the reduced size improves balance and comfort during extended use, with several confirming it outperforms heavier 4Ah and 5Ah models. The rubberized grip and reliable cold-weather performance earn strong loyalty. Some mention faster battery drain compared to higher-capacity models, and a few report charge-holding issues or inaccurate fuel gauges. Overall, most consider it a worthwhile upgrade.

Would Recommend1st problem I have ever had with a Dewalt tool. Acts like switch is intermittent. I'm sure it's just a fluke and I'll have no problem exchanging it.

Not so good
Would Not RecommendBought this to replace a ryobi i had for many years. Dewalt going down in quality, no battery, blade not attached, no case and no compatable case or other accesories list in manual. Youtube was a better source, as the instruction manual was useless. Not much power either
