I used the cut-off tool periodically, usually for only a few minutes at a time, and never had an issue with the Powerstack. I recently installed flooring in our house, and used the cut-off tool a lot for shaping the boards. I quickly became frustrated, as I would get 4, maybe 5 cuts out of the 1.7ah Powerstack battery before it would shut off. Hoping it wasn't the tool, I purchased a compact 4ah...

Would Not RecommendI bought these batteries after seeing they are supposed to have better battery life. They are worst then the original batteries If you put them to any load they will die in less then 5 minutes
