Ratings & Reviews for Delta In2ition 5.0 -Spray Chrome 6.5-in Round Shower Head with Handheld Combo 2.5 GPM

What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the shower head for its excellent spray patterns, easy tool-free installation, and strong water pressure. The combination of fixed head and handheld wand with multiple settings—rain, pulse, and targeted streams—plus a convenient pause feature for water conservation is frequently highlighted as a major upgrade. Most report significantly improved flow and appreciate the intuitive design and attractive appearance. However, some customers in low-pressure areas or on well systems report insufficient flow when using both components simultaneously. A few express concerns about plastic hose durability and early failures like cracks or leaks, though these issues remain isolated compared to widespread satisfaction.

Would RecommendQuick & easy installation. Can you both showerhead & handle sprays together OR switch to use them separately.

Low water pressure
Fairly well made (but plastic) and very easy to install. The one negative I see is the water pressure is low. My previous shower head was 2.5 gpm, this one is 1.75 and it's a noticeable difference. The pressure is somewhat adequate if you only use the wand or the outside ring, but you use both it's not

Don't
Would Not RecommendWe have two other shower heads in our home (from Delta) just like this one. Our other ones work great, and have a nice metal hose. This new one doesn't. We installed it a went to attach the hose to the head and it cracked. This whole unit is cheap plastic. Needless to say, I can't give advice about the shower head, because we couldn't get that far. :( I did contact support and they are sending me a new hose. I don't have much hope for another plastic hose. If this happens to you, keep you recei...

Cheap plastic swivel connector
Would Not RecommendThe plastic swivel connector that joins your shower arm (metal pipe) to this shower head, as supplied by the manufacturer (Delta), cracked after only a few years of light duty. While a metal connector would have lasted for decades, the connector that Delta supplies is made of cheap plastic that will suddenly crack and drop the entire shower head in your tub. Beware!

Attractive and versatile
Would RecommendThis shower head is not only good looking but also quite user friendly and versatile. Its full head provides a great shower AND the inner section comes off a magnetized base to let you have a European style hand held shower experience as well. A valve allows you to divert the flow to just the outer shower, to the inner hand held section, or both. In addition, the inner section has several spray options from gentle to massage.

Whistles and Leaks
Would Not RecommendI had the original version of this shower head for years and it broke. I picked up the current version (March 2025) and it is awful. The larger, stationary part of the showerhead has a slow stream of water coming from it on all settings. When the faucet is on, the flow of water through the showerhead produces a loud high pitch whine/whistling. I’m going to be returning this one.
