Beware of electrical cord issue

We bought two of the DeLonghi 1500-watt TRLS0715ELoil filled radiant heater 2 years ago and they both work really well. One of them we haven't had any problems with. The other heater worked but the electrically cord got hot and there were black marks on the outlet. We changed outlets and the same thing happened. The other one we have hasn't had that issue at all. Strange smell when in use

I suspect that this is used because upon opening it, there was no plastic on it, and the cord was not wrapped up as usual (folded neatly with a bread tie around it) That wasn't done. Looks like it was just SHOVED in the box. It doesn't heat well. I believe that I'm another one that got a used product and I'm angry about that too. This must be Lowes habit to sell used/returned mdse to their unsuspecting customers. I know where I'm never going to buy again. pictures enclosed

Heats quickly and very user friendly. Bought this as a birthday present for at home office and I wish I had got it sooner! I use it in a 10x12 room and it heats the room evenly.

Great Space Heater

It's nice looking, it's very quiet, has a digital temperature display, does not smell like other heaters, and it heats up a medium size bedroom very nicely. I originally bought a ceramic heater and it didn't heat well. It also had that unpleasant plastic ceramic heater smell that never went away. durable DeLonghi oil-filled portable

I have an eleven year DeLonghi portable oil-filled heater similar to this one and it still works flawlessly, (great quality). We bought several more because they to use less electrical than my other space heaters. Plus they're quiet. These take longer to heat up a room however, it stays toasty warm once heated to temperature. I use the MIN & MED settings to save electricity. I like the digital temperature set feature on this model.

Nice Heater, Burn it In Outside!

Great heater, it is silent, and it doesnt seem to impact humidity in the room nearly as fast as convection or fan based heaters do. One note: this thing stinks for the first 4 to 6 hours of operation. The manual also indicates you should run it on high for a period to burn off the protective coating on the radiator fins. stays warm long after off, warm toes under my desk

perfect, tucked under my desk, set to low & 70, silent and warm as toast. The ceramic heater it replaced was cold as soon as it switched off, this liquid filled metal unit stays warm for a long time after it turns off

Great little heater

Great little heater, this is the second one I've purchased, first one is still going strong after over 10 years. It's quiet and effective.

This is a wonderful source of emergency heat.

I have no heat in my house at this time; all three HVAC geothermal units need replacement. This heater does a great job of keeping my bathroom and bedroom warm.

OMG high electric bill

Takes forever to heat up a room which it does well but electric cost is way too high.
