Would RecommendProduct would be great except, in the major description if says for 3” X 3” aluminum deck posts but in the minor description (which I didn’t notice at purchase time) that it fits 2 1/2” X 2 1/2” actual size. I now own 10 lights that I can not use. I removed all from packaging to charge before I had received the deck posts. Suffice to say I wasted $106. If they had fit, I think they would have been a great buy.

Great accent lighting
Would RecommendLights install easily and look great on the posts...if you're looking for alot of lighting, this isn't the product you want. It gives off just enough lighting around the fixture, but nothing more than that. Solar power seems to be sufficient to provide lighting even on cloudy days. Very nice accent touch, not exactly what i was hoping for in terms of down lighting...But would recommend for what it is and the price is fair.

Would RecommendThis product works really well. Used it for back 2x2 fence post. Glued existing fence post cap under the solar light unit using ourdoor caulk. Works great, battery charges fast, and last for hours.

The solor lights charge very well They are lit even after a rainy day. The lights stay lit from dudk to dawn

Would RecommendWe purchased these deck lights to help light our stairs off our deck. They are beautiful to look at and, along with a couple of stair deck lights, give enough light to navigate the stairs at night without blinding you in the process. Confusing item details
Would Not RecommendOne bullet says: - Fits an actual 2-1/2-in x 2-1/2-in post Specifications says: - Fits Common Post Measurement: 3-in x 3-in I have 3in steel tubing fence posts. They obviously dont fit over 3in steel. If you shave off some plastic, you can insert them into the steel tube, which has an inside measurement of about 2.5 inches, but it has rounded corners, and the base on these lights are square, hence shaving a bit if plastic in the corners allows them to be inserted in 3in steel tube.
