bad screws

Would Not Recommend

The reverse thread creates more problems than help. These screws drive in and spin about half the time, every screw needs countersunk with a drill bit, waste of time. needs redesigned.

Doesn't sink well

Would Not Recommend

These screws are hard to get started and do not countersink well. When they stop biting into the wood, they will not go any further and are almost impossible to back out. The T-20 bit is not very hardened. I plan to return.

Great for Mutilating Your Deck

Would Not Recommend

Wow. These screws completely SUCK! I’ve built more decks than I could possibly remember as a landscape pro and can say Grip Rite got this design completely wrong. Whether you predrill or not, they mutilate the composite decking and the wood joists underneath. And don’t even THINK about trying to remove one after it doesn’t seat below the surface. You’ll need a pick to pull the head up while reversing the drill. Absolute garbage fasteners! 🗑️🗑️🗑️

I searched high and low to find any useful instructions and they basically provide nothing other than your basic how to drive a screw that is useful for a 5 year old. this company usually has good products but avoid these unless you want to ruin your pr...
