Would Not RecommendTrex is a pretty tough and gummy (for lack of a better word) material, therefore, driving a screw through it into supporting 2x base can diificult. I found the need to drill pilot holes to a specific depth and slightly counterbore those hole to make them work. Without doing so screws did not reach depth, broke or stripped out the head. Once I found the formula (pilot size, pilot depth and counterbore depth) they worked fine, but those are quite a few added tasked that significantly slowed my pro...

Would Not RecommendThis product seems to function as a screw just fine when combined with composite decking, but the bit that's included does not fit the heads on the screws well. I purchased two boxes of these screws. Each box included a bit and neither bit fits well. This means a lot more effort and a lot more slippage and stripped screw heads, which is a negative feedback loop with the bit getting worn and not fitting well.
