Strong and good looking

Used it to attach 6x6 pergola posts to 2x8 beams. Strong and functional. Very high quality and I like the dull yellow protective coating.

Little pricey

As long as it lasts it’s worth it. Can’t vouch for that yet

Deck for Cabin

I purchased these carriage bolts to use while building the deck I’m putting on a cabin I own. They worked out great and even blend in well with the pressure treated lumber.

Does what it should do

It's a carriage bolt. It's sized right and does what it needs to do. The coating should help prevent any corrosion and I'm sure the wood will wear out before the bolt will.

1/2 x 10 Carriage Bolts

My boys and I built a shooting range on our land and it looks great. The 4x4 timbers and these strong, coated bolts not only do the job but should help our work last a long time. The project took a few days due to weather but it was worth it.

The fine finish makes this caridge bolt easier to insert into treated lumber and to thread a nut, over that of a rough galvanized bolt.
