Ratings & Reviews for DAP 2in1 20 Fluid ounce(s) White Popcorn Water-based Ceiling Texture

Terrible, especially based on cost

This product shouldn’t be on the shelves at Lowe’s. I followed all the instructions and it leaked as much out below the sprayer as it put on the wall. I had a few spots to repair and it barely covered before running out. For such a high cost, really a disaster. Don’t waste your money.

Follow the Directions closely

I like the texture it produced

Buy another one still not sprayed.

Not working

Ends up looking good but difficult to work with.

The product was difficult to work with. It dried quickly enough but when knocking down would pull and ball/crumble with the knife, even when the knife was wet. All the crumbles made a huge mess on the floor. I experimented with the length of time to wait before knocking down and found the window was very narrow. The only positive is that whatever did stick and stay put did so well and it looked a little better than the competition product. But the extra work and frustration was enough to make m...

Needs to be taken off the market

I bought this last weekend to do my ceilings. Followed the instructions. I even shook it more to make sure. After about 30 seconds of spraying it started clumping up. Made a big mess in my hallway. I continued to use it against my best judgment. Still clumpy. After allowing to dry, you can barely tell its on there. Waste of money!!

Terrible product. When knocking down flat it wants to flake off from wall. Does not adhere

Worthless

I made sure to shake the cans a long time. I used an entire can and it covered about 2 square foot of the wall. adjusting the settings and more shaking. 99% of what came out was either air or one chunk before clogging. I moved to the second can hoping it would work better. Nope. The trigger thing broke and it just ran down my arm after that. The sat in the house for days so temp was no issue. Plenty of shaking as well. Product is worthless. If you would like to try this product just throw your m...

It didn't work. Went and purchased a different brand and it worked fine.

Horrible Product

Horrible! First one I bought, the trigger broke. Returned for a new can. New can was impossible to spray and basically just made a huge mess.

Worst product, heed the warnings do not buy!

First, I'm no DIY homeowner, I'm a GC. I tried this product because for about the same price it contained a bit more than the homax equivalent. I removed an alarm system from a house and had to patch where sensors and keypads were. after completing the patches and sanding smooth, I wiped areas with a damp rag to remove dust and got ready to spray this texture. following mfg directions I vigorously shook the can for about 2 mins, then adjusted the nozzle, and used a spare piece of sheetrock to do...

DOA delivered

Waste of time. Now I gotta stop project and go get something else and return this defective can. Bummed. Should have stuck with my go to brand but HD was out of stock and Lowes doesn't carry my go to in store or online.

Didn't work dry time horrible

Waste of money

The spray nozzle clogged almost immediately after I squeezed the trigger. Only splattering unevenly for only a couple of seconds before nothing would come out at all. Insufficient pressure to propel the product as intended. Maybe I got a bad can, but I wouldn't recommend wasting the $25+ on it.

Horrible product. didn't stick to the ceiling. Made such a mess. Didn't look like popcorn ceiling at all. actually looks worse and I may need to scrape down and start over. and unnecessarily expensive is the worst part

Horrible do not recomend

Can stopped working after 12 ft single pass on fine setting
