Would Not RecommendIf your on a time crunch and think knowing when its dry will save you time, don't buy this! You wait till its white and what happens is its still pink on the inside. Sure this is an experience comment but its to combat misleading marketing. Customers see it white and think its ready, then when you sand it flat you risk wasting your time and starting all over. Don't waste your time buying the gimmick version buy the better version from the same company, and follow the directions.

Would RecommendSo I tried the gorilla spackle that is pink and changes color before trying this, and I like the gorilla spackle a lot, but I went through so much of it so fast, and sometimes had to redo it because it hadn't dried properly before I painted or did something over it. The texture of this feels so dry and grainy in comparison and you have to mix the entire tub before you can use it. They should specify “Goes on GREY, dries white”
Would RecommendI totally get the DryDex technology is built on the marketing of “goes on pink, dries white” but since the FastDry version specifically has wayyyyy less of the dry time indicator, it is NEVER pink hahaha. It’s grey when you first open the tub, grey when you mix it thoroughly, grey when you put it on, then white when it’s dry. Other than the fact that having the classic pink coloring and that exact phrase on this version’s tub is definitely misleading (hence -1 star), it works exactly as intended...
