What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this spackling product for its fast drying time and ease of use. Most highlight how it dries within 10-15 minutes, allowing quick sanding and painting without long waits—a key reason for repeat purchases. Reviewers appreciate the smooth, beginner-friendly consistency that sands easily and fills holes from small nail punctures to nickel-sized dents without shrinking or cracking. The grey-to-white color-change indicator is widely valued for eliminating guesswork. A few note texture concerns requiring added water, but most agree performance far outweighs minor drawbacks.

Would RecommendI totally get the DryDex technology is built on the marketing of “goes on pink, dries white” but since the FastDry version specifically has wayyyyy less of the dry time indicator, it is NEVER pink hahaha. It’s grey when you first open the tub, grey when you mix it thoroughly, grey when you put it on, then white when it’s dry. Other than the fact that having the classic pink coloring and that exact phrase on this version’s tub is definitely misleading (hence -1 star), it works exactly as intended...
Not sure
It's the first time I have used this product and found the consistency to be dryer than I liked. However it did a good job filling nail holes and sanded easily. I would not use it for a big repair or too many sheets of rock. Used on white boards it was hard to tell if it was pink or not when put on and when it dried.
