Effective but expensive

I had a small 10’ x 12’ room where the decades-old carpet was to be removed and LVP put in. It’s an old house so I was already anticipating issues. It turned out the floor had sagged between the joists in a wavy fashion, with a noticeable dip trending towards the middle. Furthermore, none of the four corners were even level with each other. I opted not to use a cement-based pour leveler because I feel the floor system was not as firm as I’d like, and I didn’t want the cement leveler to event...

Still soft over a day later.

I went to a big box store to purchase a gallon of premixed DAP floor patch and leveling. I had to feather in a 16” depth to almost 1/4” thick. After 28 hours it is still soft on the thick side. I need this to dry before I can move forward with a laminate floor tile installation. I put a space heater in this small room which heated to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Still soft.

Seemingly Old Stock

While the product, when fresh and supplied as intended is great, I've purchased several gallons from Lowes and roughly half of them had product that was riddled with dried lumps, making it difficult to evenly spread on the floor. As the product is not available at other stores locally, I have been forced to purchase at the same Lowes store (other stores have not had it in stock when I needed it - and I could not wait for it to be shipped .) Having called the manufacturer, they contend that this ...

Shipping needs fixing

When it was delivered, the bucket of material broke open the the shipping box. I'd like a refund for this.

Worked well

This product did what I needed it to do. Not sure how well the leveling properties worked, since I leveled the surface areas pretty well. That said, the end result looks good, so perhaps that’s my leveling & the product leveling properties working together. Pleased with the final results.

Dap flexible patch and leveler

I used it on osb flooring seams because it's flexible but for leveling onto existing floor i used presto patch because it was easier to sand and float.

Drying time days not hours.

I installed the floor leveling compound per container instructions and the drying time stated was nowhere close. The label said 6 hours and it took days to dry. Thickness was approximately 1/4 inch. Don't buy if you want to get a project done quickly.

Spreads like spackling

The floor patch spreads like spackling, and makes it easy to fill holes in the subfloor. I use it to replace a small section of plywood removed for water damage. Takes several days to harden completely

Absolute trash

May as well be wet sand in a bucket. Doesn't spread, doesn't feather, let it dry for 12 hours, still not dry. Using bondo in your floor is a better option then this garbage.
