Good for patching concrete exterior

This product applies easy with a putty knife and dries quickly. I used this product to patch holes in the exterior of a concrete home.

Did the job for me

This is very easy to apply on concrete. I used it to patch carpet tacking strips where chunks of concrete came up when we removed them. This worked great for this application.

Love this stuff

I used this product to patch a neglected city sidewalk. The crack was several inches wide and 3/4" deep. Even though my patch felt soft for a number of weeks, it held solid to the sidewalk & greatly improved people's ability to walk of push strollers. It is sticky to work with, but since it is latex, small amounts of water help smooth it out. Clean up is easy.

Not ideal

This concrete repair patch is garbage, spreads so uneven, dosnt stuck to the concrete at all. I wouldn’t expect any better, big box store sell you anything and don’t have any idea how to do any of the jobs. A little know how in products that work would be nice..

I would not buy this product again.

Tried using this to fix a chipped spot in the slab. 78 degrees inside. Read the directions several times and was sure to keep it less than 1/4 thick. 24 hours later and it's as soft as bubble gum and Play-doh. If you can't wait weeks for it to harden as stated in the review responses below, this is not what you want.

Love this product

Refinished a deck with it. I would love to do some marketing for you on this product. Deck went from a worn out mess to one that will now last for years. If a representative from Dap wants to email I would be happy to discuss how I used it.

I have used this product for years with great success!

I have used this product on large and small repairs, inside and out. Over the past year, I used it to repair our garage apron and basement floor. Both had large sections of concrete missing -- by applying small layers I was able to create lasting repairs. Patience and persistence are the keys. Product hardens well and brushes easily when wet for a smooth, professional finish.

Great Product

I live in SE Kansas with High Humidity Year Round and Extreme Hot & Cold Seasons. The DAP VINYL CONCRETE PATCH adheres really well to any clean concrete surface and is EASY TO USE. Great for Patching Concrete Block

I removed a couple walls from the poor job by the former owner in my basement. The fasteners used left small to large craters in the block. The walls looked like a backstop at a shooting range. After a couple of applications to fill the really huge craters, the walls were repaired and ready for priming. DAP's product was the perfect consistency to even patch divots in vertical walls. I was extremely pleased with the results.
