Vulkem is the premiier exterior caulk. Itis a polyurethene base that stays flexible no matter the weather. Application is like any other caulk. To smooth out the caulk, I found it best to moisten the tip of your finger with water (or what works best-mineral oil) first. It cures in about 24 hours and paints very nicely. Clean up requires use of a petroleum or mineral spirit based solvent. It's adhesion is beyond comparision. I refer to Vulkem as " best used the first time " because it i...
