Great!

worked great on filling the Carpenter Bee hole in my siding. Just a little sanding and you couldn't even tell they were there.

The best yet

Simply the best all around patch you will find----hardens like stone-----impervious to water----easily painted-----goes on silky smooth so it is easy to apply flat to require little sanding----I have used it to level and smooth old painted wood siding after scraping away the loose paint----much easier quicker and safer than trying to sand and scrape all the paint. Also used it to fill cracks and holes in old concrete---awesome stuff.

I had seen this product mentioned when researching a filler for my deck... works great. Filled easily, drier fast, sanded well but did not take stain at all... now I'm left with white spots on my deck. I am a beginner and leaving this review for other beginners out there so they don't make the same mistake. I will see how it works for other patch/fill jobs down the road..

Platinum Patch not so white!

I have used Platinum Patch to fill the nail holes in exterior PVC trim. Does a good job of filling the holes. Easily to sand. It just does not dry white to match the trim color. Has more of a very light gray color, however the material in the container is very white. Am I using the wrong product?

Great hardiboard patch

Went on line while in store to search for better options than suggested by store associate and first item listed was this product. Found it to be easy to work with and very durable.

If you have any wood or other materials that requires any patching (repairs) this is the Product for you. Easy to sand.

Great all around patch

Great for filling all kinds of holes in wood and other services.

It does not seal.

I applied it trying to seal the chimney. After two days, it runs, it stays soft, it does not get hard. It's good for nothing.

Works

I have used this product several times. I just used it outside, so not sure how that is going to be, but it has set up like concrete on wood.

Don't buy the tube format

Repairing rot on external sills. The bucket-type is great and wanted something to fill the large cracks. The tube looked perfect for the job BUT I couldn't squeeze it out no matter how big I made the hole. I do not recommend this product in the tube.

Good product

It sure does what it says that it does. The 1 reason why I gave it a 4 star is because maaaan, that stuff is hard to sand down. If your just doing a small hole or little patch work fine. I had a customer ask me to use it in 2 exterior ceilings where he used hardy board. So I filled in all seams and screw holes. Took me 5 days to putty it all and sand it all completely down.
