Would RecommendThis filled gaps up to an inch in between drywall no problem. Sanding dust drops to the floor and it sands smooth. There is minimal shrinking. It fills the gaps and stays in place, except for the ceiling. You know... Gravity can be a pain. I just layered it on the ceiling. Drying time is fast, even where it was thick. Love the color changing. Covers well with paint.

DAP DryDex Joint Compound doesn't dry!
Would Not RecommendFirst, I like DAP products - so I was very surprised to find that their DryDex 'joint compound' was still wet the next day: ~14 hours later! 'Joint compound' is simply plaster with a bit more water - but DAP's team apparently tried to make a 'special' version. I wish they stuck to a simple plaster recipe - that dries quickly. The photo included below shows the standard inner corner I tried to use DAP joint compound on. I had to install a dehumidifier in this bathroom, which drove the temp >8...
