Retreat to the trees when i return. This owl drove it away. I place it in a different location every day early am under cover of darkness. Take it in at night. The idea is that it moves but i'm not seen moving it. It really works
Not effective against grackles but a nice yard pie

Does NOT deter birds!
I do not blame Lowes or even the (owl) manufacturer. Maybe people have other uses for this product. As far as keeping birds away from a covered patio, it was unsuccessful.

Would RecommendThis owl is effective in scaring away pigeons. I had a colony of pigeons living on my patio. I put the owl out, haven't seen them since. I did have difficulty filling the owl, as the directions suggest using gravel.

Would RecommendBirds were constantly pooping on our car. Purchased two of these owls and hung them in the tree a few weeks ago and it worked! Not a single poop!
