Best tape measure I’ve owned

Well built, easy to read markings

Really Wanted to Like

I have been a professional Cabinet maker for over 30 years. I have used many tape measures over the years and I will say that this is by far my favorite. The problem is that they do not hold up. The pictures show where the problem is and it's totally a design problem. To be fair you can see by the pictures that 3 broke. I am on my 4th and last one, I believe that after 4 it's time to find a new brand. I even emailed Lufkins support but never heard back.

Noble Lufkin

I found that the 25' tape I had been using for some time was too much. I usually don't measure anything more than 10' or so in the shop so I picked this up based on some youtube videos of various tape reviews. I really like the readability as well as the hook and the overall compact size. The standout has come in handy from time to time too. Pricey but worth it.

Definitely my favorite of the many tapes in my toolbox.

No tip and no warranty

The tip broke off in less than a year. Lowes won't honor the "lifetime warranty", and I can't find anywhere to send it back to. It was a decent tape when it worked, but don't be sucked in by the fake warranty.

disappointed for the $$$

Because of how far the hook sticks out from the bottom of the tape measure, it bends incredibly easily. Dropped from waist height and the hook is now bent back and all measurements are inaccurate. I'm gonna try to bend it back, but this is a real design flaw.

Meh

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this tape and was able to put to some use on a current kitchen project. It's compact 16' size is adequate for smaller projects. The hook on the end of the tape is similar to other tape measures I've used. While it works for some framing applicatons it make it impossible to get the end of the tape into tight spaces. Very comfortable Tape.

Excellent tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape was rugged and useful. A couple of things to make this tape above others. The 14' standout is very helpful when working alone. It has large clear numbers on both sides. The tape has a coating that is very durable. I didn't drop test it but the construction clearly is designed for protection if dropped.

Great Compact Tap Measure

Strong like bull!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shockforce Dual Sided Tape Measure is a great tool! It's smaller than my Stanley FatMax but is much sturdier. I tested out the 14 foot standout and it does not disappoint. It's great for one-man measuring jobs of distances over 8 feet. I really like the large numbers on both sides. Best tape measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this tape measure about 2 weeks ago. It is easier to read with big numbers of front and back. Big hook on the end to hold onto the edge of wood. Case is heavy duty and holds up good. Would recommend to anyone who needs a tape measure.

Small, compact, easy read

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this tape measure a little over a month ago, overall great tool. The numbers are large and easy to read, having the numbers on the top and bottom of the blade is a great feature. Its small and compact, yet feels very sturdy and well built and seems it should stand up to alot of use.

Great tape!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great tape measure! My favorite thing is that the tape is marked on both sides! The tape pulls out and retracts smoothly, and it has incredible standout, though mine seemed to fall a little short of their advertised 14 feet standout. Also the lock on mine feels a little stiff, but it may break-in over time. Overall I’m very satisfied with this tape measure and I am enjoying using it.

Easy to Read

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the 1-3/16" x 16' Shockforce Dual Sided Tape Measure and it has become my new favorite tape measure of its size. My favorite feature is how easy it is to read. The stand out is good and it grips well. I have dropped it and stepped on the blade and its still working like its brand new. I wouldn5 hesitate to buy another one.

Great Compact Workhorse

Feels good in the hand
