Would RecommendGreat product with a not over aggressive cutting edge. With the appropriate RPM's this blade is awesome. I highly recommend this blade. If you have a rough job, you will enjoy this.
Clean effortless cuts on composite.
Would RecommendClean effortless cuts on composite. Get the right size for your saw. It doesn't fit my 12" saw. See how clean the cuts are in the pic. Easiest saw blade to open (packaging) that I have ever opened.
Quality and engineering make a great blade.
Would RecommendSharp blades are so important, being able to properly work with materials ensures they live upto there expectations. Composite decking is no different than hard woods, they get hot when you cut them and they will wear out a blade very quickly. What I like about this blade is its heft, you are getting a solid piece of metal, it also is prepared to contend with the heat generated from the cuts. That heat melts and burns the materials and the heat eventually warps the blade. They have kerfs or re...
Nice
Would RecommendI needed a better way to cut the plastic wood planks. I saw this and said ok let's try it. Boy I'm sure glad I did. It cut the planks like butter. As you can see from the pictures that the cut I made using a good high quality blade on my jigsaw left the plastic melted, it worked but add mone time to clean up the cut. The this blade just ripped right through it and no wast and no wasted time. Overall it works well for my needs.
Solid Choice Blade for Cutting Composite Decking
Would RecommendThis is a great blade for cutting composite decking. It is very well designed and so far a long lasting blade. Once installed in saw it cuts through decking with ease. I've been using this blade to build a smaller sized deck and the blade makes consistent cut after cut. I find the 72 teeth blade a good one to choose for most general composite cutting jobs and it's at a good price point. I would recommend this blade to a friend.
great for perfect clean cuts, Love the packaging
Would RecommendFrom the start, It's a great product, They made the packaging sturdy and secure, with a Tool-less way to open the package, good thinking, No need for a Knife to open it. The 72 teeth make very clean cuts every time. Keep in mind that these blades are not designed to cut other materials, they can of course, but you are risking having a dull blade if it's not used properly.
Crescent 10 inch Kompass it decking blade
Would Recommend10 inch composite saw blade, seems of high-quality good for ripping panels on a tablesaw or perfect for using a chopsaw. Says it’s mostly for Kompass it decking, but they should rip their wood without any issues like a hot knife they’re butter.
Nice Fine Cut Blade for Composite Decking
Would RecommendThis blade seems to do a good job with what it is designed for - cutting composite decking. It is a fairly easy switch with most 10 inch miter saws and cuts a slightly nicer line than my old banged up general utility blade. That said, if you do a lot of mixed use (for example: framing and decking in one go), it might be a bit of a pain to use a dedicated composite decking blade. Due to cool weather and relatively few cuts needed, I could not tell in my use if the heat dissipation characterist...
Chop Saw blade for my wood working shop. Would buy
Works great. Makes nice cut. Works in a variety of woods. Fast and effortless. Would buy again and again. Recommend it to all. Great value. Keeps on working.
Sharp, Light-weight, Refined
Would RecommendCresent Tools Composite Deck cutting 10-inch saw blade makes cutting clean and thorough. The 72-tooth blade makes turning and cornering easy with more surgical cutting of materials even at lower speeds this blade makes it was through various decking materials. The venting hols along the blade's radius helps to move dust from the cutting area. A deninate upgrade for precission cutting of decking materials.
Smooth cutter
Would RecommendThis blade does a great job cutting that fiber decking boards. Nice clean cut. Doesn’t splinter. Doesn’t melt the boards either. I can cut right through without worrying about it.
Great Blade
Would RecommendNo burning nor heat when making multiple cuts in a short period of time. Clean precise cuts on various materials. Framing out an airplane hanger and this blade just keeps on delivering, it will have a very long service life.
Cresent 72 tooth miter saw blade
Would RecommendThis Cresent blade cuts molding super-smooth with its 72 teeth. Also I'm sure with the teeth design it will not build up heat which causes vinyl decking to melt and gum up sometimes.
Superb trex board cutting blade!
Would RecommendI chose this product because I was already planning to build deck steps & this tool would be ideal to complete the project. This 10” circular blade made cutting a breeze! It cuts trex boards very smooth with no rough edges. I was able to cut each board with precise measurements & without a lot of loud noise. I was extremely impressed with this circular blade & would definitely use it again to cut composite materials.
The Crescent 10 inch miter saw blade
Would RecommendThe biggest problem with this blade was the installation on the saw. No fault of the blade, instead a stubborn piece of the saw that resisted being moved. The blade itself preformed well and in the use of the blade I did notice a much smoother cut over the old blade. Both blades had the same number of teeth, so were equals in appearance. The Crescent blade is cutting a smoother cut than my old blade ever accomplished. The Crescent name has been around the hardware trade for a long unlit you of...
Awesome blade
Would RecommendExcellent blade for cutting composite decking material. the quality of the blade is very good. well balanced and tooled well. The cut quality is just as advertised if not better. I made several cuts straight and at various angles and had no splintering or splitting of the ends at all. Highly recommend
Good Composite Blade
Would RecommendThis saw blade did a great job cutting composite decking for my deck build. I used the blade on my sliding miter saw and it performed as expected. There was some minor tear out and chipping on the bottom side of the boards, but the top side looks perfect with every single cut. Time will tell how long this blade lasts for cutting composite decking, since the is seems to be pretty hard on the blades I have used in the past.
Smooth 72 tooth
Would RecommendThe blade cuts clean. I used it on some old composite decking. Pictures show the difference I'm the cuts. You can see the smooth cut using the new blade from Cresent. Notice the cut marks using a stand rip blade.
Great blade very smooth cut
Would RecommendSharp blade, very very clean cut, made a box around a mulch bed with with left over composite decking that i had laying around. The worst part of the job was changing the blade. Give this blade 5 stars for quality and durability.
Best saw blade for composite material
Would RecommendThis is an excellent saw blade for ripping our cross cutting composite material such as decking, LVP flooring, or trim pieces. Carbide teeth result in clean and smooth cuts…worth every penny!
Awesome! Glad this blade is performing to your expectations!
