We Needed This Generator

We could not be happier with my new generator. It was a great price. It ran the entire day when we had our electric down for installation of a new panel on very little gas. This thing is powerful too. We are very happy with this purchase!

Mixed impression

Initial experience was not good. Picked up the 23rd, drove 3 days to the Colo mountains, and generator would not start. Tech support (Generac) couldn't solve the problem. 3 day drive back home - so WELL past 48 hour return window... Store manager was gracious and gave me an exchange. New generator started on the first pull.... only have run it a couple times, but so far, it started on first pull each time and sounds like it is running fine. Nice and quiet.

Return policy

Had storm in Memphis, out of power at my home and daughter’s home, had roof damage, had to find hotels for family, had to deal with insurance and repair company. The unit was defective, broken in the box. Went to return and you will not give me my money back. You say all about the customer and do not honor what you state. Will be happy to send pictures if anyone really cares. 901-619-8766

Item was paid for and shipped but never arrived and Lowes was unhelpful to get it delivered.

Great utility generator

This is an excellent utility generator. I bought it for use during all-too-frequent power outages. Since it’s an inverter generator, it does not require grounding making it easier to move as needed. Plus, it’s quite quiet and has decent runtime.

Garbage!

Hard to start from first use, broke after 50hrs of use. Expensive and cheaply made. No digital display for fuel level, avoid!

Not good.

I have had this 1 month and went to use it and it wound not start.

Will not run RV AC as advertised

Was told it would run my rv ac it will not. Also the gas cap broke off need to get a replacement cap

new 2500i generator trash

Do not waste your money. This generator is trash. To return it....a worst nightmare. you have to call the company that made the engine...generac...and if you have warranty...then you have to take it to a third party shop to get it checked like a mechanic..waste of time and money.

Didn’t Buy Anything at Lowes

Don’t Buy anything at Lowe’s!! There was a Tornado that hit upstate New York. Most of the Hudson Valley was left in the dark with no power and lots of streets closed due to fallen trees. We purchased this portable generator the day after the tornado. We tried everything we could think of to get the generator to work but it would not turn on. It was sold to us broken. Portable??

Appears to be a good generator, the weight is bulky for portability and not easy to start

I have tested it by starting it and letting it run for 15 minutes and that test was successful. The unit seems very quiet without a load.

Quiet, easy to start, doubt that it starts 3,300w

This unit was nice, light, and fuel efficient, but would not power our RV AC with no other circuits active. We can usually run our AC and fridge from a 20 amp outlet. This unit couldn’t power the AC alone except for the very lowest settings and even then it had a really hard time starting it.
