What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this adapter for its robust, well-made construction with quality chrome finish and solid steel. Most highlight its seamless functionality—no slipping, no wobble, secure fit—and note its reliability under high torque. Many describe it as an essential, indispensable tool for mechanics, DIY enthusiasts, and technicians. Reviewers emphasize durability, precise machining, and the detent feature that prevents socket slippage. Strong brand loyalty stems from past experiences and lifetime warranty confidence. A few report minor cosmetic flaws or rare breakage, though these concerns are vastly outweighed by widespread satisfaction and recommendations.

Price was good if replacing individuals
Would RecommendWas in a tool kit and broke due to weak metal. Had to purchase to make kit whole. I know there is a lifetime warranty but never submitted it, just bought a new one.

Spend a Little Extra for Better Quality
Would RecommendI bought this adapter because recently I snapped 2 from a different/budget brand on a semi-stuck bolt. I like having at least one of these 1/2" to 3/8" drive adapters handy to be able to use my 3/8" sockets on a couple of my 1/2" drive torque wrenches if I need to in a pinch. I have never had an issue with a Craftsman adapter and so far this one has performed as well as any other. I was incentivized to write this review but it is my honest opinion and experience.

Good quality
Would RecommendThe finish is good, solid. Craftsman has a good reputation. I needed this to use my breakerbar with deep sockets, so I'm happy to have it. I would reccommend these.
