Purchased this to replace an anode rod on my water heater. Unfortunately it’s too beefy to fit inside the opening on it. Seems like it would not crack like the off brand version I tried first.

Heavy duty socket
Would RecommendI bought this to replace an anode rod in my water heater. I used it with a breaker bar and pipe extension, 27 inches total. It took penetrating oil and a lot of force, but I was able to get it out. This tough 6 point socket was definitely up to the task.

Good tool, but hard to find.
I knew what I was getting, so that is no surprise. I did have trouble finding this item. It happened to be in the wrong place, but nowhere did I find individual impact sockets. I already had a set, and just needed this additional one.
