Ratings & Reviews for CRAFTSMAN 40 -Piece Metric and standard (SAE) Mechanics Tool Set with Hard Case

Great for the price.

Great for the price. I needed a set that was solely 12 point and this worked out great!

Sockets

Great quality, everything in one case makes it a simplified process

Pick-up Truck Must

If You own a pick-up truck this is a must to throw in the back, it has all of the standard sizes needed both SAE and Metric in shallow and deep socket. They are Craftman's and still have a lifetime warranty. can't go wrong for the price.

Craftsman still stands for Quality

Nicely packed in a very durable and well designed case allowing for easy access and accountability of every tool.

TOUGH STUFF

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this set everyday and most other cases I have used the plastic snaps would have broken off by now but not these they still operate like the day I got it,Snap Snap Tough Stuff Thanks Craftsman. I would definitely recommend these to anyone that's looking for a Tool Case that holds up to everyday use!!!!

Poor Quality

Used to take off side steps off my pickup, ratchet center mechanism fell out while taking off bolt. First time using this socket set. Have much older craftmans ratchets that were made in the USA these are made in Taiwan just show the quality difference.

Best Deal

This SAE and Metric set comes in a case that keeps all pieces organized. Good tool set for an oil change, brake job or bike assembly. I recommend it. Great value

Craftsman Tools + Youtube = Success

If you are looking for a great all around ratchet and socket set, this is the one! All the sizes you need in standard and metric. This set is perfect for those car repair and maintenance jobs that you can do with a little help from Youtube. If you are like me and just got tired of paying $400 for brakes and $250 to replace an oil pan, this will save you some money. I found out that 4 brake pads are only about $30 but the repair place charges $200 to replace. Brake rotors are about $100 pair b...

Craftsman 40 piece socket set

This is a very good set of sockets. It has all of the standard sizes used for both SAE and Metric in shallow and deep socket. The included Ratchet and extension is high quality as well, exactly what you would expect from Craftsman. This set delivers. The sizes are etched in large don't that is easily seen when working and there is lines crafted in the sides to make it easy to use your fingers on the sides to assist with handling a bolt with the socket attached. This all comes in a tough case tha...
