What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise this electric chainsaw for its lightweight design and strong cutting performance on small to medium yard tasks, easily handling branches up to ten inches thick. Many appreciate the ease of use and automatic chain oiler, calling it ideal for those finding gas models too heavy. However, a notable group reports persistent chain issues, with chains frequently coming off during use and requiring repeated reattachment. Additionally, many customers experience significant oil leakage that soaks wood and clothing. Despite these drawbacks, most reviewers find the cutting performance and lightweight build worthwhile for casual yard work.

Leaks Oil and the Chain won't stay on
Would Not RecommendIt leaks oil and the chain has come off more than its cut anything. I got it to cut shrubs but it doesn't really do well with cutting anything.

Leaks oil and the chain doesn't stay on
Would Not RecommendLike many of the other one star reviews this thing leaks oil all over the ground and the chain pops off if you try to cut through branches larger than 4 inches in diameter. Bought this for light duty use but it doesn't even hold up to that.

Great value
Would RecommendPerfect size for the trim jobs we have around the yard. Big enough, but small size makes it easy to use and store. Price was fantastic - less than it was to rent one for a day! Very happy with the purchase and the brand.

Meets my requirements!
Would RecommendI haven't used the the chainsaw yet. I bought it because it meets my requirements one of which is compatibility of the bar and chain with the gas chainsaws I own. I own two other Craftsman products that work all the time and without problems!
