Very happy with the purchase. The motor is pretty quiet and seems to last long enough to take care of both the front and back yard (over 45 minutes on the lower setting at least with not straining at all). For the hand guard it actually feels more comfortable if you reverse on install.

CMCST901 doesn't line auto feed
Would Not RecommendPurchased Craftsman CMCST901 string trimmer/edger. I love the features on this however brand new right out of the box it did not auto line feed. Took back to Lowes and it was replaced, same problem. This model has a design error I would not recommend this product. Its sad as I am a loyal Craftsman customer but when they sell a company quality is always victim
I have only been able to use this once but it is a hassle. I will be bringing it back. It is not a tap and go, but instead, has a button to feed the line. THIS NEVER WORKS. Craftsman used to be a good product but I will not buy this brand again. My brother also has the same model and the feed doesn't work on his either. You have to stop work, take the top off of the line spool and pull it out.
