Unending line

This is our second summer using it. We got it because we have hundreds of cypress knots and didn't want to deal with gas powered. While the 20 min of run time at a time is annoying I could deal, but now the line just keeps coming out. So I can't do my yard at all!!

serial numbers

tried to register a product after purchasing today. A location for the serial number was not mentioned in the instruction manual. Your online assistance is no better at locating the serial number. Item is a string trimmer- model number CMTCST915..

Not as good as they used to be

Once you get used to the lack of response from the trigger the tiny included battery last all of 10 minutes max. So if you buy it better invest in a ton of extra batteries. The blower in the package deal ain't bad though.

This trimmer is awful. The automatic line feeder has NEVER worked. I have to constantly open it up and manually pull the line out every time. Craftsman used to be a trusted brand. What has happened?

Unable to repair!

I am having no luck finding a replacement head for this trimmer. It broke after about 5 uses and I'm not able to find a replacement, which makes this trimmer useless! I am very disappointed as I purchased the Craftsman brand based on past experience. Now it looks like I will have to purchase another trimmer before I can finish my yard this year.

Battery does not hold a charge.

It fizzles out in 20 to 30 minutes of continuous use. It's "hold to start button" is awkward. Won't buy another.

Line gets caught in the shaft

We have only used this trimmer once and we tried to use it again over the weekend and the line gets caught in the shaft and winds around each time. I got it unstuck twice but third time it wound several times. It looks just like the pictures from a previous review. Cannot find a place to repair.

Battery

This is my second trimmer. Returned the first one because of life of trimmer, 20 min. Thought I had a defective one and this one does the same thing. I will be returning it. I can not and will not take 2 to 3 days to trim a lot that is not even and acre. Poor product.
