Recommend using this with 4ah battery.

Definitely has more power than the previous craftsman trimmer I used. Equipped with the 4ah battery it cutts through the thicker grass easily.

I’ve been really happy with this Craftsman V20 string trimmer. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and the battery lasts long enough to finish my yard work without any issues. The edging feature works surprisingly well and gives the lawn a clean, professional look. Assembly was quick, and it’s much quieter than a gas trimmer. My Experience Using this trimmer has made routine yard touch-ups so much easier because it is incredibly lightweight and starts up instantly without the hassle of gas or cords. It handles typical lawn grass around my patio and fence lines beautifully, and the adjustable straight shaft means I can trim comfortably without bending over. While it bogs down a bit in thick, overgrown weeds, it is the perfect grab-and-go tool for regular weekly maintenance.

Good trimmer, assembly slightly tricky

Had to assemble out of the box. Process went smoothly for the most part but some words included with the diagrams on the visual instructions would have been nice. Had to unscrew and rescrew to attach the guard at the bottom and getting the handle snapped on was a two person job. The controls are intuitive and the trimmer is lightweight which is good for getting it around for an extended period of time.

Way better than the basic model

I honestly can't believe y'all sell that basic version with the Craftsman name on it when this is available. I used the other one for two years and can confidently say it is garbage compared to this. But I guess you know that since it usually comes with a free leaf blower. This one with the two speed option is awesome and I can use my V20 batteries I have for everything else. No brainer.
