Ratings & Reviews for CRAFTSMAN V20 20-volt max 13-in Straight Shaft Battery String Trimmer Edger Conversion Capable

Personal opinion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in a bundle with the blower. I loved mine, light weight and shaft extends out to the point that I have to bend down so far. I am 6’7 and have used multiple weed eaters over the years. It has cut thick grass without much fuss, now using a 2 amp battery doesn’t last long maybe 30 minutes, but I have a good bit of 2 amps if you have a 4-6 amp it will last most standard yards. I use mine in a 2 acre plot with home, barns sheds and mos...

Great for smaller projects

I got this on sale and it was great for the price. We have a side yard that a lawn mower can't easily maneuver, and this worked well. We did let the yard get long this year, so it took a long time to trim down. I would suggest getting an additional battery if you have a bigger project, it took me a few days to get the grass down with one battery that needed to be recharged.

Great Weedwacker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very Good Tool to trim and edge my property. It is lightweight and easy to use.

Battery life is questionable

Bought this particular model because of its light weight and while it is light and easy to work with it goes through batteries like there is no tomorrow. And it takes forever for the batteries to recharge as well, so unless you have multiple batteries and chargers you will only get limited use from this particular unit.

The Craftsman string trimmer isn't working.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Craftsman string trimmer isn't working. The device runs for a second and then starts making a noise as if the reel were jamming; I don't know if I should keep wasting time replacing the reel.

Needs a bigger battery but works great

Need to get a second battery.

Very good item, not as heavy as the one that I have previously owned. Less stress on my back.

Great pricing for the the quality

Lightweight and easy to use

Blowers

Doesn’t blow very strong

Awesome product, price and service

Made my decision to purchase based on reviews. I don’t think the low reviews of some are correct. This Craftsman weed eater was a great price and worked awesome right out of the box. Instructions were clear. Good power, light weight and easy to handle. Highly recommended. Lowe’s staff was fantastic as always.

Wanted a weed trimmer that was battery powered, easy to use and light. I had never used one before and was a little anxious. It is perfect. And, as always the experience at Lowe’s was quick and easy.
