10' not 14'

I was disappointed to find that the 14' reach includes the height of the person, so actually only 10' long saw.

Serious piece of equipment

I bought this a few weeks ago. I didn't realize that it did not have batteries and charger. I also realized that it may be difficult for me to handle at my age. It is well made serious piece of equipment. The pole is solid and strong. I was hoping that I would be able to leave the center part of the pole out, but as I familiarized my self with it it is made so that you have to use all three sections. I may have to get someone to run it for me, but I think it will easily do the job that I need it...

Worth the money

So far so good. I was able to cut branches with ease.

Power to Cut

I got a birthday check and wanted to use it on something for the yard. I got the craftsman battery powered pole saw with 20V battery. What a gem. I'm female and am able to cut anything in my way up to 8" in diameter. Full of torque and power. Very impressed with this pole saw. The sky is the limit.

Will get the job done!

I bought this to trim the trees that arch over my driveway way. The reach is incredible and it had enough power to handle thick branches.

Lowe's service and worthless contracts

I did buy this product and am happy with it. I swore a sacred oath NEVER to purchase from Lowe's after my last purchase of a Husqvarna 4 wheel drive lawn mower. It never worked from day one and I had also purchased an extended warranty for a lot of bucks to cover it after the Lowe's 1 year warranty ran out. When I called Lowes to see where to get it repaired, I spoke with 6 (SIX) people who claimed to be THE store manager and all 6 said it wasn't up to Lowes even though it had only been 3 months...

Perfect for what I needed it for

Works great for trimming small to medium tree limbs.

Stability

The pole saw did it's job with being able to reach high sitting tree limbs. However, the pole itself is rather unsteady and almost feels like it could break. A little more stability would be great.

Does the job but lacking in other areas!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The saw cuts great my problem is the weight of it and I would like to be able to just to use the chainsaw part without the pole attached to it. Another thing I've seen on other ones is you can tilt the chainsaw head but on this you can't.

Sloppy handle.

Saw works fine but the real problem is that the long handle is way too flexible and can’t be tightened enough to make it rigid enough to keep it from drooping. Doesn’t give you the confidence that you should have.

Quit Working

I used this pose saw maybe 3-4 times. It did a good job, but suddenly stopped woring. My dad had purchased the same one, and his quit working as well. Save the money and just buy a chain saw
