Good little saw

Impressive, I love mine

Awesome

This doesn't cut as fast as a gas chainsaw but it cuts! Very lightweight and quiet. I own most of the V20 tools and many batteries that are all interchangeable. Buy this! I love using this chainsaw.

It's been a week since my order and a day past the estimated delivery date. Tracking the order status is a joke since it has not been updated in a week. Good luck trying to submit an actual query to Lowe's because all you get is referred back to the customer service page.

Great saw

Ok. I was surprised. Are you going to cut down a large oak tree or get into the tree trimming business? No. If you know your tools limitations you will be happy with the saw. A pecan tree, or should I say a 1/3 of a pecan tree fell in my yard. It had no problem cutting 8-10 limbs. It cuts a tad slower than my gas 14" chainsaw, but being able to just pull the trigger and cut. Less noise because it does not run all the time. It is also lighter than my 14" gas saw. Small enough to be light & convenient, but strong enough & big enough for jobs around the yard.

Decent saw. Can't use older Craftsman 20 V battery

The saw seems to cut as expected. The battery from my other Craftsman 20 Volt tools do not work in this saw. The advertisement indicates the saw works with other Craftsman 20 V power tools.

Excellent homeowner grade saw. Easy to handle and powerful enough to handle small trees and shrubs.

Would be great if it didn’t leak bar oil

I’ve used this saw maybe 5 times - I’ve had it for about a year. It works great, battery lasts longer than I expected. However, when you set this saw in its place to store between uses, bar oil leaks out. Badly. All of the oil leaks out. It’s not even an oil cap issue, I’ve stored it sideways with the cap straight up in the air. Still leaks all of the bar oil out. I have oil all over my garage because of this. I wish i could find a fix for it somewhere, but I can’t find any videos about it. Wish...

Stopped working

Almost 1 year and the saw is dead. Used maybe 3 times for some light pruning. Handy little saw when it worked. Pretty disappointing.

Six month report

I initially reviewed the Craftsman v-20 12" battery powered saw in September, 2022. At that time I had owned the saw only a few days. Now, after 6 months of ownership and use, I am happy to report that this diminutive saw continues to work hard and without fail.
