Would Not RecommendStraight out of the box, the 3/8 inch brad point wood drill bit could not go through soft pine, it was just spinning around, heating up and burning the wood. At first I thought it might be my drill, I put a fresh battery, pushed harder and barely made it through with a very rough hole due to the pressure needed. The 1/2 inch wood drill bit just flew through the wood, without any pushing, but the 3/8 would just not progress. Seems like a serious QC problem to me and it is disappointing to get suc...

Would RecommendThis drill bit kit has too many of the same torx bits. There are 4 T25s. I would like there to be a greater variety of torx in this kit. Overall I am very satisfied with the variety besides this one flaw.

Would RecommendPurchased as a gift for daughter and son-in-law. Not the best of DIY'ers so good selection of bits will make essential projects possible and, in the long run, add value and stability to their home. Make it easy and more likely to fix it before it is too far gone.
