What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the rich, authentic hickory smoke flavor that deeply infuses meats like brisket and ribs without overpowering them. Reviewers consistently note the wood chunks burn cleanly and evenly for extended periods, producing a robust smoke ring with minimal ash. Many appreciate the large, meaty chunk sizes and natural wood quality, with several highlighting the slow, steady burn ideal for ceramic and barrel smokers. A few mention minor size variance or price concerns, but the vast majority consider this a top choice for serious grilling and smoking.

Good wood
Would RecommendUsed with the logs for a great tasting, consistent smoke

Would have given five stars if the bag had more bigger chunks and less splinters that catch fire and burn up fast.

Good but chunk size inconsistent
Would RecommendOverall a solid product but the chunk size is not very consistent. Some are huge and others are more like chips.

Not bad, but inconsistent size
Decent wood, but the size variance is wild in these bags. Some of the chunks are darn near large wood chips. Honestly going to avoid this brand unless I have little choice some days. I recommend smokey woods at ace.
