Would RecommendI don't know why you'd spend more than this unless you were getting something crazy fancy like a Thermador that can alternately light and turn itself off to give you extra turndown, but thats a $2000+ range. I was a bit skeptical because of the price that this would be junk, but no. Had it 2 years and its working great. It looks nice, it works nice, its not hard to clean or install. Not top of the line?
Would Not RecommendWe bought this stove-top to replace a ceramic one that was looking pretty shabby after 10 years. While it installed easily and looks out of box, we are disappointed in three areas: 1) the main complaint is some burners have stained, oddly enough they're not the one most frequently used. Cleaning has not helped. 2) the lower right burner is hard to light. I know there is a trick to it (hold down, turn, etc), but sometimes it takes 6+ times to get started. 3) The lower right rack seems out...
Perfect size
Would Not RecommendWe had to find a small gas cooktop to replace the original 1957 cooktop and this was able to be fitted into the counter top with very little adjustment. It looks great with the vintage oven and cabinetry. We are very happy with the easy use of the controls and the burners are hot enough to cook anything we have wanted.
