What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise the pole pruner for exceptional cutting performance and impressive 16-foot reach, with most noting the sharp blade cuts thick branches effortlessly and the extended pole eliminates ladder needs. The integrated chain pulley system enhances cutting power significantly. However, some users report excessive pole flex when fully extended, causing control difficulties and blade jumping, while a few experience mechanical issues like loose blades or locking mechanism failures. Despite these drawbacks, most customers find the tool effective and worth the investment for reaching previously inaccessible areas.

Corona's double edged blade is best on the market

Would Recommend

Got this at a big discount. 16 footer helps with the much taller limbs.

Defective Twist Lock

Would Not Recommend

Good product with one major defect. The twist lock for the adjustable sliding pole does not tighten sufficiently. As a result, when using the saw it can/will continually slide open rendering it ineffective as a tool. Very poorly designed. Will have to replace, maybe with Fiskars.

Well built, priced right

Would Recommend

This pole saw is super sturdy, has a long reach and cuts great. Bought this to replace my original one that I had for, no lie, 40 years. The rope had broken and the saw was totally bent and rusted, so I bought this one. This one has a chain pulley where the old ones rope had broken, but if the chain breaks I could repair it like a bicycle chain.

Does it cut?

Would Recommend

Does it cut? yes. Does it reach? yes. Everything that you want from a pole saw/pruner. The best and worst thing is the length. Don't buy if you are tall and need to cut short trees/bushes. But if not it is great.

Great blade but heavy handle.. Not for average joe

Would Recommend

The most expensive corona hand pruner has the most effective and sharp saw blade. it is the reason I bought it. I found out however 16 feet of fiberglass handle is a bit heavy to operate while pushing upwards; same token it works better when pulling down on it (gravity) while operating it (I am a strong dude). It is definitely heavy duty built; but definitely not built for sissies nor effeminate males. I did not buy the step down from this particular one because the saw blades look generic; and ...
