What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these outdoor roller shades for exceptional sun and heat blocking, with many reporting patios several degrees cooler and 90% UV protection. Installation is consistently described as easy, taking 15-30 minutes with clear instructions and no specialized tools required. The roller mechanism operates smoothly, and included bungee tie-downs secure shades in wind. Customers emphasize durable, high-quality construction, with units lasting five years or more. Many repurchase after positive first experiences. A few mention crank mechanism concerns or occasional end cap issues, but these are rare outliers in overwhelmingly positive feedback.

Great roller shade!
Would RecommendI’m totaling enjoying my Coolaroo roller shade! It filters out the sun on the west side of my porch and has cooled down at least 50-60%.

Perfect product to block the sun.
Would RecommendI had to do something about the afternoon sun on my screened in porch. The heat made it unbearable, then I found this! I installed it myself in about 20 minutes, not to bad for a 72 year old woman. I can now reclaim my porch and enjoy the outdoors again! It also allows the breeze to flow through the material and I love how easy it is to raise and lower the shade.

Missing Parts
Would Not RecommendLowes sucks! They just let people buy things, take parts and return them. Then they tape up the box and sell it again no quality control. What an embarrassing company!!

Cost Effective Problem Solver
Would RecommendI purchased these sun shades in August and I had them installed 8/8/26 around my pergola to block the sun in my backyard. I don't have any trees. This was a cost effective solution that looks nice and does the job. I purchased the almond color. I am planning to install these shades around my deck and to put one on my front porch. Installation was easy. The shades are very easy to use. My only regret is that it too me too long to learn about this product. I would highly recommend these shades.

Basically transparent
Would Not RecommendThese are basically transparent. Barely any shade effect and zero privacy. The pictures on the packaging (and on this site are very misleading)
