Would Not RecommendHook looks great! I followed directions exactly as written. I placed the command hook on glossy subway tile. The hooked failed when hanging a lightweight robe. Disappointed.

Expensive but Worth it!
Would RecommendI used this on a thin sheetrock wall that backed a closet pocket door. There was no way to add storage hangers for mops and brooms. This hanger is holding up a mop, broom, and 2 large insulated bags. I will buy more of these. Clean the wall with alcohol and let dry before attaching the hook. Follow mounting instructions.

They stay up for years!
Would RecommendFive years ago , we remodeled our master bathroom. I wanted somewhere to hang a back brush and decided to try these hooks. We put one in the shower and one by the bathtub. In this very wet and humid environment, both hooks have stayed up and held their brushes. The satin nickel finish continues to look great(no pitting) and is so close to our Kohler fixtures you would guess it came from Kohler too. We could not be happier with this choice.

Would RecommendI purchased this hook so that I could add a place to hang a kitchen towel other than on the oven door. I noticed that my towel was always dragging on the ground when I opened my oven door so I wanted a more "stationary" hook to use. It was so easy to install & I love the modern look of the hook because it matches my new stainless steel appliances!

Bathroom Medium Brushed Nickel
This product, and all 3M Command hooks and fasteners are mana from heaven!! I like to re-arrange artwork and my office bulletin boards, as well as posters in my room at my school. The bathroom hook is right next to the steamy shower where it has held for 3 years now! It withstands tugging when my Pug decides to play tug-o-war with a towel hanging from it. I couldn't be happier with ALL of my 3M Command products!!!

NOT GOOD FOR PAINTED WALLS
I had this up on the wall in my bathroom next to my vanity. It said it could hold a blow dryer, etc. I put a small (well under 1 lb )decorative towel for looks only. This morning it fell off the wall taking a chunk of the wall with it. I now have to pay for a costly repair. I then attempted to remove the hook from my other bathroom that was put up yesterday. It started to pull the paint away from walls as I pulled down on the strip. Luckily, I was able to remove it with just a bubble in the pain...

Great for shower and bath - no rust or mold
I have a couple of shower baskets that came with those suction cup things to keep them on the wall. They did not work at all. The baskets keep falling and the suction cups were horrible. I found these and they are amazing. They actually outlasted my baskets. They are easy to apply and look nice.
