Love 3 M products

I have had 2 for more than 2 years. Use them above the kitchen sink in a NYC tiny kitchen. Recently moved and took them down. Planning to put them in new kitchen this week. Purchased new water resistant command strips from local store. I did have an issue, at first, with the command strips that came with the package, but the company sent me new ones. Love 3m's customer service! And that did the trick! I also have 15 or so hooks hung up in various rooms of the house or closets.

Plastic breaks

Plastic tab breaks off and the expensive soap dish is worth nothing. I have a bag of hooks where the plastic backing tab broke and the hooks can to be used. I wish you could buy replacement backing tabs.

Soap Dish Works Great

My husband bought this after the existing shower shelving fell off. I had to put it up for him because I use many Command Products. It has been several weeks and is holding well to the tile wall. I was surprised at how well it is holding. Looks great and the dish separates easily for cleaning.

Checks every box!

Love this soap dish! It goes exactly where I want it, the metal part comes off easily for cleaning, the soap stays firm because water drains right through, and it moves from place to place as my kids’ change dorms and apartments. The satin nickel finish looks as good as the day we got it. Best of all, the plastic piece on the back broke and 3M customer service is able to send a new one.

Great soap dish without having to drill holes !

This Command soap dish is actually two separate pieces, The soap dish and the hook for the soap dish. This allows you to remove the soap dish for cleaning while leaving the hook in place. Mine has been installed for two weeks so far and is securely attached to the shower wall with no issues. Very pleased with this product!

Change in adhesive won’t stick to tile

I have bought many of 3M’s bath products for years. They must have changed what adhesive they use. I cannot get the product to stick to the tile. I’ve redone it exactly as instructed. I even bought a refill pack thinking it was my fault the ones included didn’t work. It falls off with just the frame. Unless you can purchase an older one, I wouldn’t not purchase.

Broke within 2 weeks

Never really adhered to my bathroom wall, kept falling off, finally fell to pieces after 2 weeks.

The soap dish works

The soap dish worked great for a few months but I needed to remove it to move it. When I tried to pull down on the strips to release them, they broke off. I then had no way to grab the strips to remove them. I tried everything but it didn’t work. I then pulled on the clear plastic mounting price to get it off but it broke. Now I can’t reuse it. I’m disappointed. This is not a cheap soap dish.

Won't stick to shower wall

I have used Command products for years and love them. I followed the instructions for this application and the strips do not adhere to the porcelain tiles in the shower. I can't return it since I attempted to install.

Excellent product for a granite sink!

I did not want to damage my new Silgranite sink, and I needed a place inside the sink to put my sponges on. This is PERFECT and very secure! No magnets needed and no damage to my very expensive sink! Easy to install and has been in my sink now for a year with absolutely no problems. So happy to have found this!

Not very good - i only it stuck to the wall

Have to say it might be okay, but he instructions say to slide the soap dish off after installing it. Of course, I guess that assumes that the dish is free to move off the hanger - otherwise the strips give way and now I hold useless metal in my hand.

For Short People

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The title says it all. I’m vertically challenged and my son-in-law (SIL) kindly installed a guest suite in their home for us. The shower head is so high that I cannot reach the soap on the caddy! Command soap dish to the rescue - I installed it away from the water flow, in a place I cannot bump into it, and at a height that works for me. It’s on it’s third year. I was so impressed that I bought one for my newly installed tiled shower at home...

Great for shower walls

I brought this in August of 2019 when I moved into my apt. easy to install, easy to remove for cleaning, and easy to replace. Best of all, It doesn't rust. Much better than those suction cup hang ups that always end up falling down.

Great Solution to Messy Problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who ever would have expected that the expensive contractor doing the expensive renovation would put the expensive soap dish right in the stream of the shower, causing the soap to melt and create a nasty mess in the expensive new bathroom? Command soap dish to the rescue! I placed it away from the running water, and it matches the expensive satin nickel hardware perfectly, holds the soap to dry and keeps the mess at bay. Hooray!

Best soap holder ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this a year ago in my shower because there was no place for the soap. It keeps the soap handy and lets it dry out and not melt away into a slimy mess.

Just what I needed.

Needed to get the soap off the mini shelf and this let me place it perfectly!

works well - once

I bought this since I move form rental to rental and wanted a nice matching set (soap holder and caddy) that I could use and take with me. Both held up well and are great quality. However, now moving out this soap dish cant be reused. When taking it off the wall the command strips ripped (not from user error Im moving out I took down 10+ of the same style that day and none ripped). After this I had to try to get it off without damaging the shower but the plastic piece broke and now I have no...

Gets Rusty Quickly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought 6 of these - 2 to use in our RV shower; 4 for our 2 house showers. They look nice and stick on the shower walls well. Like all Command products they aren’t inexpensive so one would think they wouldn’t rust but they do! If we replace them, we’ll probably spray they with clear acrylic.
