Ratings & Reviews for Command Medium Decorative Brushed nickel Hanging Double hook 4-lb Capacity

What Customers Are Saying
The Command double hook is a mixed-quality product. Many customers found it to be sturdy, stylish, and easy to install, allowing them to conveniently hang various items. The brushed nickel finish was praised for its modern and sleek look. However, a significant number of customers reported issues with the adhesive failing to properly stick the hook to surfaces, causing it to fall down and sometimes even strip paint from walls. Some felt the plastic backing was too flimsy and prone to breaking. The hook may not reliably hold heavier items like bath towels, and customers should be prepared to use additional adhesive strips if the initial ones do not hold securely.

This is unsafe and has no utility as a hook
Would Not RecommendThis product is terrible by any measure- after reading and following instructions adhesive was completely ineffective- please do not buy this unless you want to drill holes in it and attach to the wall conventionally- I bought two- one unopened which I will send directly to the manufacturer to provide feedback- I have lost $20 on worthless products but this price of garbage is headed for loser hall of fame.

The plastic backing piece failed
I purchased this product in 2022 and was quite happy with the product until the plastic backing suddenly failed (snapped in half exactly as pictured by a number of other reviews here while I was in the other room). It's a shame that 3M didn't opt to make the piece just a little stouter. Without that essential backing piece this nice hook is now useless to me.
