Ratings & Reviews for Command Decorating 40 -Pack White Hanging Light Clips

Useful

Used these for making a cool dorm decorations. Some came off but would stay on after a good five second hold through the rest of the school year

Adhesive is horrible, worthless

As much as I loved the idea when I saw that a clear option was available, the adhesive is worthless. I have to go through an entire pack to get the few I need to actually stay on the wall, window frame, etc. The hooks come off with barely any pressure applied to hang a string of christmas lights on them. The original version that had the white background never would come off so easily...you had to actually pull the tab to get them to disengage from the fixture. The adhesive used on the clear ...

Unhappy

Very disappointed they wouldn't hold up even an empty plastic grocery bag. Took tge paint right off my wall.

deco clips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] these are really handy to have around. Especially when it comes to applying lights to windows. They are secure and hold up to the conditions that I have used them in. I also found that they are great to use in the bathroom to hang my jewelry. I also use them to display me signs when I go to craft shows and flea markets. I will continue to use this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this size for my classroom, BUT I HATE HAVING TO PURCHASE A NEW SET EVERY TIME I NEED THE STRIPS. I'm looking into something else instead, unless you can tell me where to find the refill strips for this product.

Used to hold small necklace chains...1/3 fell down

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not happy... Used to hold small necklace chains...1/3 fell down. Too expensive not to work. Can not find replacement backing.

Little Things Help So Much

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these little decorating clips. I use them for all of my holiday decorating and because they are clear I can leave most of them up year round.

Works great for light-duty applications

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these in my dorm room to hang my string lights (the LED kind with copper wire). They worked great and removed cleanly, I pulled the strips very slowly. Just wish they sold refill strips so I didn't have to buy a whole new set for next year!

Worked Great Until Removal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use Command hooks all over my house for all sorts of things. My daughter used these on her ceiling to hangs strings of Christmas lights. they have been up for a while and we are trying tot get them off. They are not coming off like your other products. They are breaking and pulling paint off. Not happy with these at all. Will stick with the bigger items in the future. Those are great.

Holiday reuse.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have put up about 20 of these in our kitchen, dining room and living room about 10 years or more ago. For current holidays they are used to hold up decorations. None of them have come off the walls and ceilings which is why we used them year round. It has become a family tradition to start putting Easter pictures or Christmas wreaths or Halloween pumpkins.

Waste of money, doesn't hold

I bought these at Hobby Lobby. I was very excited to use them and not have to use nails to hang up a string of lights in my craft room. it was very frustrating that sometimes when I would even just put the hook on the tape it wouldn't even stick to the tape. Once I put the string of lights on the wall they started to fall one by one they don't hold at all. Very disappointing

PERFECT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I moved and had to remove some small pictures from the wall and then re-hang them. I was able to take off the old stickers easily and then reapply new ones with ease. No fuss, no muss!

Does not stick, holds nothing

I have used these a few times and so far they have all fallen and chipped the walls. They not only took paint off the wall but one took plaster and all and now I have to plaster over the hole that was left. Very poor quality, very disappointed.

Quick tool for hanging temporary backdrop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased these to use when decorating for school dance. Wasn't sure where I might need them but know they are handy. I ended up using them to hang the photo booth backdrop fabric. No nails or tacks in the school walls - up & down quickly & damage free!

Perfect for ALL Decor & Display!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE these clips! The ones I currently have in use have been up for at least 2 yrs at this point & none have fallen or come loose. Plus they were very easy to apply. I have used some to string decorative LED lights, but my primary use for them has been to display in-package action figures. I collect toys & was looking for a cool way to present the ones I've kept unopened, it looks amazing to be able to have them seemingly float on my wall! I ...

Damaged my wall! Break easily! Expensive!

Terrible! Expensive and damage walls! Never again!

Took paint off my wall

We used this product to hang two separate strands of Christmas lights. Before the end of Christmas 2 of the hooks fell off, taking paint with one of them. While removing the final ones, so far I now have 10 paint removed holes in my wall. There are still 3 more hooks to remove that I'm not able to reach. I have a feeling the count it will be up to 13 by the time we're done.

Small, discreet and match any color!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product over a year ago and they all still hold wonderfully to this day! These little guys hold my keys, pot holders, light strings and much more. These hooks blend in and hold the lite things in life. They are great!

I HAVE USED THESE HOOKS FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF CHRISTMASES AND BEEN PLEASED WITH THE RESULT BUT I AM RUNNING OUT OF STICKY STRIPS... THE HOOKS STILL WORK OK BUT CAN I BUY REPLACEMENT STRIPS ON THEIR OWN?
