While advertised to remove cleanly and damage free, in tiny print on back of package it says 3M will not be responsible for any damage arising from this product whether direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential. RUINED Wood Work (& tree)

Very upset to find (multiple) strips pulled off professionally painted woodwork, damaged trees and many broken heirloom ornaments. Weight was under what was required and several strips were applied properly. DO NOT count on the CLAIMS for this product if you have care about your interior space. We now need to have woodwork sanded down and re-sprayed. Extremely disappointing to deal with when we used these as in extra "safety blanket". FAILED! 100% RUINED WOODWORK

Ripped paint off wall

Best wreath hook ever!

I purchased several of the 5lb command hooks to hang Christmas wreaths on 12 front windows. These did not disappoint! The held the wreaths through snow, rain, sleet, hail during the months of November-January. When it came time to take them down the sticky part of the hook removed easily as promised. How do they do this and still offer holding capacity of 5-8lbs?? These are pricey, but, I found a decent deal on a multi pack. So pleased with this product!

Large Utility Hook 5 LB rated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] used for a coat rack. NONE of my jackets weigh 5 lbs. Polyfill Parka -maybe 2 lbs. 2 of 3 hooks broke off. The adhesive did not fail on either side. (wall side/hook side) the actual hook broke off!!!

Will not stick

I have used these hooks for years to hang various items. I used to love them, they made moving much easier because we never had to fill in nail holes any more. I have always used the same hooks to hang the same items, I just tape the hooks to the item when we move so they don't get misplaced. This last move was to a modular home, and of the 9 items I had hung with these hooks, 6 of them have fallen off the walls and 5 of them have had the frames and glass broken in them. I have been using Command hooks for over 10 years. Occasionally one will fall off but it's usually one I've been using for years. I have noticed that when using on sheet rock they are only good for light items. Belt, keys, pot holders, scissors, etc. When removing from sheetrock or painted surface it is imperative that it is held completely flat against the wall until the adhesive strip is completely removed.
