I hope the "Holds 3lb" is true.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought them and installed them in the kitchen, near the sink, to hold my cutting boards. I hope the promise of holding up to 3 lb holds true. The hooks are the right size to hold my cutting boards. I also hope the moisture from the sink won't negatively effect the glue. I had another one for years, but the hook snapped.

very handy

Faithful

Loved it till I saw my wintercoat on the floor &s

I bought a 2 pack of these. One to hold my winter coat and the other to hold my husbands. One day I came home from work saw the coats were on the floor. When I went to hang them back up I saw the hooks were peeling the paint off my wall. So next month when I move I will be told I'm not getting my security deposite back cause I have a hole in my paint.

Damaged my wall

The hook literally fell of my wall. It was hanging a thin, lightweight broom. Very disappointed is what these did to my wall. See pics.

I use them to hold up my vine flowers. Holds the climbing vines up the pole perfect

Disappointing

These are simply not strong. A light painting fell down after ~4 months and took parts of the wall with it.

Nails in the wall seems less damaging option

Bought these power strips to hang some light paintings in the living room. I would recommend to not use it on any painted surface as it took out chunks of paint when trying to remove the adhesive. Tonight a small painting that was up since August suddenly came tumbling down because the strip gave out. It unfortunately landed violently onto some glass lights underneath and now shattered glass is all over the living room floor. Thanks for this experience. Nails in the wall now seems less damaging....

Very good adhesive if used correctly

I used it to hang not too heavy pictures Did fine Wouldn’t guarantee for it to be used where the pictures might be shaky

Works for your needs!

I use these to hang up class packs, and they work with heavier loads than what they are rated. For the price, it’s impossible to beat!

very dissapointed

to be fair, I gave a 3 because past projects have turned out ok. But this is the result of using 5 hooks (3 or 5 lbs weight capacity each, not sure, threw package out) for a christmas garland weighing a total of 5 lbs. I used them to avoid the trouble of patching and painting tiny nail holes. Sigh....I just want others to be aware.
