What Customers Are Saying
The tent has a spacious interior and is easy to set up. Many users find it weather-resistant and durable, describing it as a good value. However, some report issues with the poles breaking or the rainfly leaking, especially after extended use. The tent may not perform as well in more extreme conditions.

Would RecommendI need the canopy. It blew across the lake when the kids were helping me break it down. Very nice tent, roomy home away from home. Sure could use that canopy. The door pole pushed threw the rubber hinge but still works well. Can't use unless I get that canopy.

Seams and Corner Leaking
Would Not RecommendWe have had this tent for just over three years. Super roomy for the two of us and our dog with gear. Tonight proved tent doesn’t last regarding the seams and canopy. In total we have only used this tent 7 times. Light rain where we stayed and corners of one side show leaking at seams with major dripping through top of canopy. A pool of water formed at the end of the tent, too, where the drops of rain were coming in at the seam. Quite disappointed this tent hasn’t lasted us more uses. Now in the...

Do not buy this tent! Leaks like a sieve.
Would Not RecommendWe used this tent only twice since we bought it. Last night we went camping. It rained and the tent was leaking so badly the inside became soaked. We had to pack everything up and go back home. Completely ruined our camping trip! Do not waste your money on this tent!

This tent is affordable and spacious.
Would RecommendWe used this tent for the first time in November in Ohio and froze, even with a ceramic heater.. We realized after setting it up that the ventilation and rain fly system are for moderate and warm weather. We liked the space and the height. We had a question about some cover for the screen openings that would allow some heat retention? I would recommend it for warm weather camping.

We suggest to cover the outside of the tent with a rainfly or tarp. This will block the wind from blowing directly on the screen openings. We apprecia... Read More
Durable
This is the tent we purchased and had in the backyard for the boys to camp in... on 8/27/2020 we got a huge storm with 45-60 mph wind gusts. We weren’t able to get the tent down before hand. The tent came off the steaks and took a ride with the wind across our yard and to the neighbors. The tent was still together and had a cot in it. The only thing that tore was the rain shield..... it is still under warranty as we just got it in July...

Great size for family of 5
Would Not RecommendThis tent held up well for the 2 camping trips we have gone on since purchasing. It rained hard the second trip and we had no water getting inside. The lack of window along the back does make for a warmer experience but keeping the windows on the sides and the door open helps a lot. Unfortunately, the big pole for the door and one of the thicker structural poles have snapped and finding replacement poles is proving to be difficult.

Fantastic tent for our purposes.
Would RecommendMy wife and I have a seasonal tent site at a mostly RV campground. We leave our tent up from late May - early October. We used this tent all of last year and are continuing to use it this year. It has remained dry and solid throughout the entire season both last year and so far this year, including a pair of 2-inch+ rainstorms a couple of weeks ago. We have it setup as our summer home, with area rugs on the floor and plastic bureaus and a hanging bar for clothes. I can't speak to how comfy it...

Love my tent
Would RecommendWe bought our tent 3 years ago and has not failed us. I can’t count the number of times we have used our tent. We broke a pole last summer but it was on us. I absolutely love our tent. Pray we get many many more uses out.

good tent but poor design
Would Not Recommendthe biggest complaint is the pin and ring design for the poles any kind of wind and the pins come out of pole and then the tent comes down on you.

Great for dog camping!
Would RecommendWe were looking for a tent to camp with 2 big dogs. This tent has fit the bill in many ways. Big on space with lots of room for a queen air mattress and space for a small table and chairs if you need to escale the weather which we have encountered living in the Carolinas. Only reason for a four star and not 5 is the lack of ventilation once you have the fly qround the side windows. If they were a bit larger. Also, the fly on the sides could use on extra guyline on the side windows in the middle ...

Inexpensive and great for casual family camping
Would RecommendWhile they recommend two people, it’s easy enough to put it up by yourself. Will hold up to occasional car camping, with plenty of room for a family of five.

Affordable and lots of space
Would Not RecommendThis tent offers lots of room for a family of 4 and a dog plus gear. Putting it up is a lot. Even after you get good at it. It's a pain to figure out which pole is which. Take down and getting it back into the bag is a pain too. I have always had to repack it at home in the back yard for storage. The swing door is a good concept but it never closes completely. The ground is never 100% flat and that makes a big difference. There is no window on the back. Even with all the windows open th...

Big and water tight
Would RecommendI set this up in my backyard and it started raining and snowing and it survived and there was no water or snow in the tent.

I like design but low quality.
Would Not RecommendUsed 3-4 times and went to use this year and 2 poles broke. I take good care of my equipment but I can tell QC has declined with Coleman. Almost impossible to order the correct pole repair kit, have to order multiple kits to get all the parts required.

great tent but not water proof
Would Not RecommendLove the tent layout. After figuring out how to set it up, directions lacking some helpful tips. We used it three times now. First was completely dry weekend. Second weekend light rain water came into tent. We thought it was seams so we sprayed all seams. Third weekend nice rain and yes we had a lake in tent. Water came thru side panels, we have now sprayed whole tent with repellent. Hopefully this will solve problem.. It is a shame one must go thru this; I never had this problem with my olde...

Horrible and defective
Would Not RecommendI purchased this tent to be able to accommodate my large family. I have used it 3 times now and each time something happens. The first use, one of the tent poles snapped and the weather was not even bad. The second time, its rained and with all straps tied down, the inside of the tent still got wet including our clothes and beds. The third time, the bottom of the tent rippled where it is staked down because of wind. Because of the damage, I will not be able to use the tent again and honestly don...

Great tent!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this tent for several years and use it on an annual camping trip to the coast. I have had up to 6 adults overnight in the tent, and while it was close quarters, it was do-able. Usually it is just me in the tent, and it's a perfect size for me and my stuff. I also really like the hinged door on this tent.
