The on/off switch is defective and will keep flashlight turned on. The other flashlight i bought from here works great.

The flashlight I ordered online was defective and could not be used. Two of three springs used to hold three batteries in place were missing. I had to return it for a refund.

GREATEST GIFT!!
Would RecommendThis is a great flashlight—one that I never want to be without. As it happens I was looking to buy another one for each of my close friends and came upon this opportunity to review the greatest flashlight I have ever owned. My boyfriend bought me and himself both one of these about 5 years ago and I cannot tell you how useful they are. I’m not an outdoors person, or enjoy camping or hunting, but this Coleman flashlight is so very useful and of such good quality that I wanted to share my thoughts...

Flash light
Worked great while working on a car. The size was perfect for the tight engine space and it was bright enough to see everything I needed to get to.

Good light for the money
Overall it’s a good light that works well for camping or nighttime hiking. Not the brightest light at around 350 lumens. It takes AAA batteries, so it’s easy to replace them. There’s no clips or anything to hang it on your bag, but the crosshatched handle makes it easy to carry in any weather. Decent light for the money.

Corroded!
I've had this flashlight for about a year and the battery compartment became corroded and now won't work at all. What's the story with the so called battery guard. Sounds like marketing hype to me. To make it worse you cannot get a replacement part so this is only good for the trash!
