What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this pool salt for its fast dissolution, fine granulation, and excellent value. Most highlight how quickly it dissolves without clumping or residue, requiring minimal brushing. Reviewers consistently note the competitive pricing compared to local pool stores and describe the salt as reliable and effective for maintaining proper chlorine levels in saltwater systems. Many report using it exclusively for years. A small number mention issues with ripped bags or occasional clumping, and a few note minor staining on pool finishes, though these concerns are isolated. Overall, customers strongly recommend it as dependable and affordable.

Clorox Pool Salt. When I need some, I buy it where it is most convenient. There are three suppliers in the Milledgeville, GA area. One is a national box store that sells everything (Groceries, hardware, sports supplies, electronics, garden, etc). The other is a pool supply company. I have found that each one has pool salt within the same cost ($.025) up or down. The Clorox brand readily dissolves and does the job that it was designed for.

Needs better packaging
I like this salt better than Leslie’s, but the bag is too flimsy. One fell apart when I loaded it in my truck, spilling everywhere. I was allowed to replace. A second tore open at home, but it didn’t lose a lot of salt. And a third tore open and spilled on pool deck.
