Well made, simple installation. A bit concerned about the seal between the cap and the adaptor for the 4.5" post. I decided to seal the gap from water collecting with tape.

Soft white does not work
Would Not Recommendthe soft white option is not working, but the other white option does work. I purchased 6 of these in June of 2025. One would not work any longer only after a year. This was a replacement and out of the box the soft white does not work. Not worth the money if they only last a year.

Would RecommendOver the last few years I have purchased several Classy Cap solar lights, just recently I purchased two different post light caps. Besides the fact that they are beautiful and well made, they lacked the proper hardware to install and I had to purchase bases separately to retro fit them to two different post dimensions. Both designs came with screws that were too short. Regarding function & beauty, we love them.

Weak point of the light.
Would Not RecommendWe have 20 of these lights on our lake house deck. They are very pretty, BUT there is one small screw from the bottom, that goes into the plastic part of the head. That is the weakest point of the light & where it breaks, and the entire top falls off. We have had that happen to several lights on our deck. They can also fill with water?
