What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these roofing shingles for exceptional quality, durability, and aesthetic appeal. Professional contractors with 20-35 years of experience consistently choose them for both client projects and personal homes, citing heavy construction, reliable performance in harsh weather, and ease of installation. Reviewers commend the rich color variation, authentic texture, and precise manufacturing that delivers consistent results. Many emphasize deep trust in the brand's reputation and comprehensive warranty. A few note minor confusion around color naming, but these isolated concerns are vastly outweighed by overwhelming positive sentiment and strong customer loyalty.

FORTIFIED ROOF CertainTeed System in Mojave Tan
Would RecommendAnother CertainTeed Landmark roof in the books—this one a FORTIFIED completion in Hampstead, NC using a full CertainTeed system, finished in Mojave Tan. Beyond the curb appeal, the FORTIFIED Roof designation and full-system install give our clients real peace of mind on the coast—wind, storms, and the paperwork that protects their investment. Modern Look, Serious Performanc
Would RecommendWe went exclusively CertainTeed in 2026, and it came down to product superiority and the pigment match on stock. That match matters more than most homeowners realize—it means down the road we can match our roofs, minus normal sun fade, instead of guessing. Every color we’ve run has been a perfect fit. Charcoal and Moire Black are the most popular right now and nail that modern mid-century look. The weight of the product, installed as part of a full system, gives clients a confidence that’s hard...

the landmark shingles that we have been purchasing from srs sterling heights mi that come out of Shakopee have been horrible quality lately we installed a 40sq job yesterday of moiré black and they were on average 3/8 of a inch different in exposure height, the dragons tooth were not laminated flush with bottom of the shingle on about half of the 40sq very disappointing.
