What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this shingle for exceptional durability and weather resistance, with many declaring it the best on the market. Reviewers consistently highlight outstanding performance under extreme conditions—high winds, heavy snow, hail, and intense storms—crediting the impact resistance, added thickness, and weight for reliable protection. The rich color options and modern aesthetics receive high praise for enhancing curb appeal. Contractors with decades of experience rank it as their go-to choice, citing ease of installation and strong warranties including algae protection. A few mention higher pricing, but this is vastly outweighed by perceived value and long-term performance benefits.

Would RecommendStill one of the heaviest shingles in its class, and the Max Def color pallet combined with the beveled ShadowRidge sets it apart from all the rest

Landmark Pro in Pewter Gray — Max Def
Would RecommendAnother CertainTeed Landmark Pro roof completed in Hampstead — this one finished in Pewter Gray. The high-def blend gives the roof real dimension and depth, and it stays consistent across every plane, even on a complex hip-and-valley layout. The lighter gray is a sharp, clean look that works on just about any elevation without going dark. As always, the full CertainTeed system and the weight of the Landmark Pro product give our clients confidence that holds up on the coast — and the warranty and...

Landmark Pro is Best in Class
Would RecommendWe just installed CT Landmark Pro Shenandoah shingles and Shadow Ridge. As a contractor, I think Landmark Pro provides the homeowner with great value. It provides many of the qualities of a Class IV shingle, at Class III prices. I’ve installed more squares of Landmark Pro than any other shingles, and I couldn’t be happier. I sleep sound at night knowing I installed the best shingles on the market.

Landmark Pro Shingles
Would RecommendLandmark Pro shingles are a great product to use, well worth the upgrade. We love the Max Definition colors as they add a whole different dimension to the roof. It is also reassuring to know that they are a class 3 impact rated shingle as well.

L Pro own house
Would RecommendHey all, we're a roofing contractor and we install onlt CT at this point, about 40 warrantied roofs per year. We used the L Pro on our own house because we put them on everyone elses houses every week! They're a great shingle for the money. CertainTeed was also nice to give us a break on the L Pro's that we bought for our own home which was cool. We're adding on a crew by next spring, so we'll be building on the relationship more at that point-

Owner of roof company
Would Not RecommendQuality of Landmark Pro upgraded shingles were poor. Funny color, loose granules, and the shingles seem to have been Frozen at some point? Very disappointing I called in a rep to look at the extra bundles leftover, and am waiting for there Lab to give me there Diagnosis. But it’s been 3 weeks, I feel like I got a bad batch of shingles, but it’s not the first time. I feel they are making product at lower quality, and I’ve installed over 500 roofs with Certainteed.

Landmark PRO
Would RecommendIts simply, hands down the best architectural shingle on the market. It far surpasses atlas's blah blah boring 3m "true square" gimmick and their horrid "shadow" lines. Landmark PRO is our favorite and a customer favorite.
