Ratings & Reviews for Cascade Platinum Plus Fresh Scent Pods Dishwasher Detergent 6 oz 11 pk (Pack 6)

Pods stuck together

I pick up my cascade dish washer pods - the last container had many stuck together - I use but when pull apart I lose the liquid. I am hoping the next container is better I am a loyal customer

Love it

Cascade Platinum Plus works AMAZING! Even tough, dried-on food comes off completely with just one pod - no pre-rinsing needed. My glasses look shiny, dishes come out spotless, and everything smells fresh. Super convenient, powerful, and totally worth it. This is my new go-to dishwasher detergent!

Good for using everyday !

Very good brand that deserves the trust of many people, very good quality. We always buy it in a large size for easy storage. The smell is pleasant, gives freshness and cleans dirty dishes very well!

Bad chemicals

The chemicals in this product make this a non starter for our family.

Horrible

Half our 59 count of dish detergent was obviously a machine error with the amount of bad packages and this wasn’t close to all of them. Is this Cascade or a cheap dollar store knock off because these darn things are empty of everything useful

Bitter Residual tastes imparted into plastics

Imparts a bitter chemical taste into plastics. Straining spaghetti and microwaving food causes a faint cascade pod odor and highly noticeable bitter taste to transfer from plastic to food. Pasta smells like cheap perfume and tastes bitter. Reheated chicken breasts smell like perfume and the aftertaste if you dare eat it tastes bitter. Our spahetti strainer made of plastic and many plastic items (spoons, spatulas, bowls and lids) had the same bitter smell and taste imparted to food items even af...

So clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cascade Platinum ActionPacs are so convenient and easy to use, without all the mess, just toss in the dishwasher dispenser and let it work its magic, even the toughest of stuck on messes, wash clean and clear. My plates and glasses have never looked so shiny.

Microplastics

I want a dishwasher tab that is free of microplastics.

Commercial

It does not keep my dishwasher filter clean like the commercial says. I have to clean my filter once a week.

Makes this unscented

Product gets everything super clean, but the scent sticks to your dishes. Everything smells and tastes like whatever the scent is. Itried have rinsing everything after, the taste/ smell doesn't go away. Would be really great if this was available in unscented

Best dishwasher pods I've used so far

Since I have officially used an entire container, it's time to review! 5 stars! I've used so many dish washer pods over the years and this one has never let me down, from washing to drying, it does a great job. I'm heading to the store to buy more now!

Doesn't dissolve properly. Not worth the extra cos

I'd leave no stars if that was an option. The product routinely doesnt dissolve in the dishwasher. I have used it both on the 1 hour setting and the 3 hour setting and it still only barely dissolved. Not worth the extra money! Sticking with the liquid that's way cheaper and way more effective.

Pacs will no longer dissolve in the dishwasher

We have been using the Platinum Plus Pacs for years, but the last two containers, 90% of the pacs will not dissolve leaving a large portion of cleaner from discharging into the washer. Nothing has changed with the water pressure or dishwasher, so it is assumed they are using a different (cheaper) polymer than previously. Very disappointing.

Clean dishes and a fabulous smelling kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cascade Platinum Plus Action Pacs in Fresh Scent work great! My dishes came out sparkling clean with no residue, and I love how my whole kitchen smells fresh after running the dishwasher. It makes cleanup so much easier and leaves everything looking and smelling wonderful. Definitely recommend!

Doesn't dissolve completely

I have a GE dishwasher, this product does not dissolve completely in the dispenser. Makes me wonder are my dishes really clean? Very dissatisfied.

Great product! Lives up to its name!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve always been a die hard Finish dishwasher pod user, so I was excited to try Cascade Platinum Plus ActionPacs. My kids aren’t the best at rinsing the dishes before loading them in the dishwasher, so I was a bit apprehensive, but these pods worked like a dream. It cut all the grease and leftover food which was surprising to me. They smell great and the pod dissolves completely. Finish pods sometimes don’t dissolve and there is a sticky...

Inconsistent results

I use the cascade ultra and the rinse agent and my regular dishes look clean but my glassware is cloudy and streaked.

Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scent was like a very strong cleaner, it seemed to clean the dishes better then other ones. Packing was small it was a sample, but they worked well.

Cleans great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not stopped buying these after the first try! It works really well and is such a good value for the money. The scent is clean and fresh but not overpowering.

Cleans dishes in a short amount of time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hosting a party and this product is what helped me clean all my dishes in such a short period of time. There is no particular scent to this product, but it does what it entails. And really gives woman, my dish is a good sparkle.I would definitely recommend this product.
