Would Not RecommendGenerally I prefer metal boxes for their strength but there are times when these boxes can really be helpful in tricky spots when doing remodel work. For a plastic box they are surprisingly sturdy and super simple to adjust.

I was considering the 4" square deep steel box with the side strap and without. The install a 4" square steel tile ring to wall depth. In comparing price, amount of material and time required - I went with this adjustable box.
