Would RecommendThe retro switch/outlet box worked out very well for my application. The small winglets that grabs the back of the drywall board rotated, as designed to do, and locked the box securely in the wall. Including cutting the hole with a drywall saw, fishing the wires from an adjacent outlet in the next room, installing the electrical box, wiring and installing the outlet, and closing up with a wall plate cover, it took me about one hour. This box worked perfectly for replacing a PVC box that was just screwed to a beam, and barely hanging out of the wall. The replaced box was reminiscent of an accident waiting to happen. This new PVC Old work box was put in with ease and was a solid fit. Will use this type of box again when necessary.
